Program costs are approximate and subject to change without notice. 

 

Tuition costs are based on PSAV standards for Florida residents.  Fees include all direct costs (books, supplies, etc.).

 

Financial aid is available for all who qualify

 

Business Ownership provides an opportunity for intensive study in the area of entrepreneurship and small business management.  Students participating in the program will receive instruction in planning, developing and operating a small business through classroom instruction, related projects and interaction with local business and industry.

 

What Type of Student Should Enroll?

The curriculum is designed for students who indicate an interest in owning and operating their own business.  Higher level math, communication skills and problem-solving are essential components of the program.

 

What Skills are Taught?

After successfully completing the program, the student will be able to:

·         Analyze the changing role of entrepreneurship in a global economy

·         Compare and contrast different marketing theories

·         List components of a business plan

·         Prepare an introduction for a business plan,  including market analysis & pricing policy

·         Prepare a marketing strategy

·         Demonstrate uses of marketing related software
